Hierarchy with directory issue when sharing with other spaces

Hi Expert,

In ADMIN Space : 

I created a hierarchical with directory and associated it with the Master Dimension. Then I associated the master dimension with the fact. so I created Analytics model from the fact and dispplay data.

I able to set hierarchy for Cost Center. then I share the fact, the masters and the hierarchy to HR space.

In HR Space :

I Created Analytics Model from the Fact and previewd the data.

I found below error 

I try to unshare the Hierarchy with Directory so that this space does not have a Hierarchy with Directory. Then I tried previewing data; it worked, but I couldn't set the hierarchy.

Do you have any solutions for this problem?

Hello @PongsatornK,

There is one SAP KBA 3265465 - Facing Issues to Deploy a View that Uses Shared Objects as Sources suggesting that Ideally, shared objects should have quotes around them. You will need to add a double quote to the shared objects' names.

But I think it's for if you create / deploy SQL View. Probably it does not fit into your case.

Secondly you mentioned you shared the fact in ADMIN space. I think since the hierarchy is on Cost Center object you need to share Cost Center too with HR space, then you would be able to deploy the fact that you create in HR space.

Hi  Tuncay Karaca,

I shared all master dimensions to the HR space also cost center. so I can select cost center to preview in column but I can't set the cost center's hierarchy due to hierarchy with directory error.

@PongsatornK You may encounter a system issue. I would suggest you to submit an incident for SAP Support. I'm wondering if the same scenario could cause the same error / issue in a different tenant.

Checking one more with your screenshots, did you share Texts objects too?  The texts should be shared too.
