Hi Experts,

Please clarify the queries.

How to determine the problematic statement "HASH" from the output of HANA_Threads_ThreadSamples_FilterAndAggregation script ( THREAD_STATE is already filtered with "Running" )

1) What are all the column's and KPI's to be considered for determining it?

PCT, DURATION_MS anything further?

2) Which THREAD_TYPE must be considered along with "Sql_executor" for troubleshooting?

JobWorker ?

FlushResourcesHelperThread ?

MVCCGarbageCollector ?

MergedogMonitor ?

2114710 - FAQ: SAP HANA Threads and Thread Samples is already referred,

Will appreciate your answers.

Thanks in advance

Hello Daniel,

Please share the purpose of reviewing the output of that SQL query, based on that, how to use that will differ.

Are you trying to find out threads which consumed high CPU at a particular time ?

Based on the information provided, it is not possible to determine the problematic statement "HASH" from the output of the HANA_Threads_ThreadSamples_FilterAndAggregation script. In order to do so, you will need to look at additional columns and KPI's, such as PCT, DURATION_MS, and the THREAD_TYPE. Additionally, you may find it helpful to refer to the SAP HANA Threads and Thread Samples FAQ (2114710) for further guidance.

To determine the problematic statement "HASH" from the output of HANA_Threads_ThreadSamples_FilterAndAggregation script, you should consider all of the column's and KPI's that have been filtered with "Running" including PCT, DURATION_MS, and THREAD_TYPE. The THREAD_TYPEs that should be considered along with "Sql_executor" for troubleshooting are JobWorker, FlushResourcesHelperThread, MVCCGarbageCollector, and MergedogMonitor. Additionally, you should refer to the SAP HANA Threads and Thread Samples FAQ (2114710) for more information.
