Hi Experts,
There are some overgrown tables in SAP HANA 1.0 database MDC environment.
Please let me know the procedure to partition them (or) what is the best practice for dealing with these tables.
I would appreciate all your inputs and help.
Thanks in advance
Hi daniel.basis,
Table partitioning is one of the way to manage it.
Follow SAP note for "How to monitor DB growth" - "2680392 - How to Monitor Hana Database Growth History"
Link: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002680392
& if you system is BW on HANA
For handling large volume "2019973 - Handling Very Large Data Volumes in SAP BW on SAP HANA"

There is a very good blog too about "HANA Partitioning – 2 billion rows limitation – Part I: BWoH / BW/4HANA" by c9b9c8ea15574d29bfafe89e88ac94ec

I hope it helps
Regards
Deepak
