GUI App requests authentication within SAP Fiori Launchpad

Hi,

I have set up an SAP transaction on the launchpad, but when I open it, it asks me for authentication to the remote system. System Aliases are created and mapped correctly. I have the same problem when I open a WDA application.

My System is S4HANA 1709.

Best regards,

Hi Juan,

Seems like the connection between your Front End (Fiori) and Backend (ECC) is not configured properly.

Below might help, there are some other good resources with screenshots in the wild 🙂

Is this the only Tile/APP that you are facing this issue with or any other tile?

Hi Bharath,

This error is with all applications of type GUI or WDA. Transactional and analytical applications work correctly.

Checking the blog you send me, I see that the trust relationship between the 2 servers is not configured on the server. This is required?

Hi Bharath,

The additional setup is done. The configurations of the connections on SM59 is done, but the problem persists.

When I test de HTTPS connection on SM59 show me the bellow error, could this error be related?

Yes Juan!

Your certificates in STRUST seems something amiss.

That is a whole lot of different checks again, possible to get your basis personnel to do basic https checks first?

Hi Bharath,

No, the Basis team has configured the connections and certificates on the servers and we continue with the problem. All configurations are as described in the guides.

Best Regards, Juan.
