Hi,

I'm trying to read an email in outlook. I'm able to read the Email Subject successfully, but reading the Email Sender or Email Body (or HTML Body of an email) is not possible (attached images for reference). Please let me know if I'm missing something.

I'm using irpa_outlook SDK Version 1.30.69

Search Criteria

I tried to search text based on Body content and it is successful (Just to verify).

Mail Subject - Working

Hi chaitanyapriya.puvvada,
Can you please help me on this issue.

Thanks

Hi Krishna,
Are you sure that you have selected the proper step in the timeline when you are checking the value in the Tester view ?

It's not clear for me where is the problem with your print screens.

Anyway, as it's written in the message that I can see in your print screen, the value that you see for input and output parameter correspond to the activity which is selected in the timeline but not the activity selected on the canvas (the area to drag and drop the activities). So, I would say the first step is to check that.

Just for information, the new tests that we have done internaly with 1.30.69 don't show any issues.

Hi sebastien.lavoignat,

I tried running the same flow in other laptop and it was able to capture the body in response.

I feel that the device on which I was trying to run previously had some security restrictions in outlook that was preventing it from reading email body.

I'm not sure what settings exactly prevented that. But if you have any idea please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Krishna,

Unfortunately, I'm not aware about such restrictions and I never hear about that.
I looked for on the Internet and didn't find any security rules like that.
If you have the possibilities, it could be interesting to ask to your IT team if they applied specific rules in your company... but only for some computers.

I'm glad that you was able to run it from another machine.
I suppose that for the moment only the comparison between both machines could give clues to move forward on this issue.
If you find anything interesting, don't hesitate to post on this forum.

Best regards,
Sebastien
