Format Address node in smartforms

Hi Experts,

I need to add the state name in the address node[otherwise all the address fields are coming up in the form] as i have created in the smartform with customer number specific to adrnr(address) as input.

My question: Can I format the address node element or customize by add one or two field into the address node?

Can anyone please give me solution to this problem.

SAP proposes different address types based on countries, there is a lot of customizing, so you must be careful to not do custom code for something that can be customized.

If there's no customizing available for the client requirement, you may get the formatted address via the function module ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM, and customize the returned address via the input parameters. For more information, see the inline documentation of the function module, or answers in the forum.

This answer is a copy/paste of official SAP Smart Forms documentation - Inserting Addresses.

Did you check the available parameters in an address node in Smart Forms, block 'Additional Address Specifications', to get expected result.

Of course you could get the default address lines with (above mentionned) FM of group SADR and change the lines, normally it is not necessary (Check first Customizing and the parameters of the address node built from the form interface) and not worth it.
