Fiori Launchpad show/hide tiles

Hi,

i have a question concerning the Fiori Launchpad:

is there any badi/exit where i can show and hide tiles "on the fly" .......e.g. when a user is a "boss" (reading out of HR master data) he/she sees specific tiles, which a "normal" employee should NOT see.

We DON'T(!!) want to do that with roles, as this is too complex and an admin overkill. So initially everybody should see all tiles, and depending on the user i want to hide specific tiles inside a badi/exit, etc.....

Is there any possibility to do that ?

br Martin

Hi Martin,

I am not fully understanding why you want to achieve this using BAdI or user exits?

Also how do you understand if a user is a boss or an employee? You this by the business roles that are assigned to him, no?

I think this is not foreseen as we have the roles in place for exactly this.

I do not see any admin overkill here with roles. we are doing it with roles and works very fine. We need to adopt the roles only 1-2 times per year. Where is here the admin overkill?

I think this is an "admin training topic" how to do it right.

You can also use specific Task-Lists to generate Fiori Roles and assigne it to the user,...talk to your SAP Consultant, they will help you with this

I have explained that already, it is an admin overkill to do this with roles ! So why there are Exits in the NWBC-world where we do this and NOT in fiori launchpad ?

Also how do you understand if a user is a boss or an employee? You this by the business roles that are assigned to him, no?

HR master data is the key word here !

It seems so and the quality of your software gets worser and worser. Pls just google on this topic and you will see that i am not the only one with that requirement.

Dear Martin,

thanks for your nice and valid feedback. Please use a different channel for such requirenments. I would recommend the https://influence.sap.com/ if you believe that user exits are needed to achieve that even though we have already offered another functionality for this.

By the way, I offer you to write in direct messages about the purpose of a standardised cloud software. Because I believe you missed a huge point here and I could clarify that with you and improve your understanding here. But that is just an offer from my side 🙂

@Edrilan_Berisha: we need a solution NOW, not in 3 years when i do something with influence.sap.com

And i dont know what you mean by "By the way, I offer you to write in direct messages about the purpose of a standardised cloud software." what cloud software you are talking about and what direct messages there ?
