Excel uploading error msg

Hello everyone,

Since I changed desktop PCs to a number of my users I face the problem that most of them are not being able to upload an Excel file, no matter if it's a .xls or .xlsx. I installed/uninstalled Office, I resetted Office, Windows Clipboard is off, Excel Clipboard is empty but I'm still receiving an error that the size on the clipboard is too large. No obvious reason to resonate this outcome after all.

I'm creating a new post since I saw on the past the same question but unfortunately with no good answers-results that also didn't work for me.

Thank you all for your contribution regarding this matter because it's a daily task for us and creates a lot of confusion.

Regards,

Ioannis

Hello Ioannis,

You're using SAP GUI 8.00 32 or 64bit? And your Office?

If you're using SAP GUI 8.00 64bit we recommend the usage of MS Office in the same architecture.

In addition, I would check if the issue occurs with multiple workstations or only with specific ones.

In case it is workstation specific, check what is the difference of these workstations.

If nothing of these recommendations helped you to solve this issue, you can create a case on SAP Support reporting your issue. This issue should be handled at the first by BC-FES-GUI or BC-FES-OFFI team to collect the required traces.

All the best,

Lucas Machado

Hi there Lucas and thank you for your feedback.

I'm using 64bit versions on both SAP and Office.

The problem started as I previously said when I bought new PCs for some of my employees. All of them have the same specs.
I guess i'll have to open a ticket to see what's going on.

I'll be back with some feedback from the support if I have any, just in case other people get helped.
