Hi All,

Greetings!!

I had created the reports by establishing the Relational Connection (i.e.) Microsoft Sql Server 2017 and designed the Universe. I faced this issue so I had created DSN with 32 bit and 64 Bit on Server and the issue got resolved. I can able to access the Reports from Web Intelligence Rich Client.

But I am unable to refresh and access the same reports from BI launch pad and facing same error.

Please find the attached Error screenshot.

Could you please let me know.

Please reach me. (i.e.).

Thank you.

your SQL driver on the server is not working. Either those libraries are missing or not accessible.
You are comparing windows machine with webi rich client that uses local drivers and bilaunchpad which will be using sql server drivers on your *nix host. It is not a valid comparison.

Fix sql connectivity on your server, then report will work in bilaunchpad.
Things to check :
ENV variables , like LD_LIBRARY_PATH, ODBCINI etc
presence and valid install of sql server drivers on server. (you need to use native tools to test connection)

Thanks for the information Denis.

I will be checking libraries are missing or don't have access on Server End.

Thank You.

Hi Madhu,

Would need more info

I do not see the screenshot attached. What is the exact error message?

What is the BO Server version and the client version?

Are other reports based on different connection and universe working?

Are you accessing the report with Administrator or different user?

Regards,

Shreejith

after defining the DSN on the BI Server, have you test it on the BI server?
