Dynamic version regarding year selected in SAP analytics cloud

Dear All,

I try to create a story with the following requirement :

- A filter based on year (2024,2025...) where 2025 is the budget year in progress

- a table with the following columns :

       - first column Year N-1 (2024) and budget version "Final"

       - second column Year N (2025) and budget version "In progress"

If I choose 2025 in the filter (budget year in progress), I want the first column displays the Year N-1 (2024) and budget version "Final" and the second column displays the Year N (202r) and budget version "In progress".

If I choose 2024 in the filter (Last budget year), I want the first column displays the Year N-1 (2023) and budget version "Final" and the second column displays the Year N (2024) and budget version "Final".

To sum up, depending year selected in the filter, I want some specific combination of year/version in columns.

How could I achieve that ?

The below blog will give you some idea. Although its based on Forecast Version but it can be extended to Budget version also. Just treat Actual as Budget Final and Forecast as Budget in Progress
