Hi,
We are using facing issue with Solman BPI, we dont see any data in the dashboard.
However, after doing research we found out 'DPC PULL CORE' extractor was not working. Last time these extractor pulled data before solman upgrade.
I cross verified job "EFWK RESOURCE MANAGER" is failing with reason 'Internal error occurred when processing parallel RFCs'
In order to troubleshoot i have performed below activites.
1.Content Updated with latest available update
2.Deleted DPC Pull Core extractors
3.Re- configured managed system setup to push new extractors
4. Re activated the BPI objects in Solution Documentation
5. Deleted and re-configured EFWK RESOURCE MANAGER job, job still failing with error 'Internal error occurred when processing parallel RFCs'
Hello Alexander,
Thanks for your valuable inputs.
Issue was related to logon group in EFWK configuration, which was not activated.
Now everything looks fine.
Thanks again for your support.
Regards,
Sultan

Hello Alexander,
Thanks for your response.
As I dont find any error, I think i need to wait for midnight as most of my monitoring object runs midnight, will wait for a day and get back to you.
However, I found these messages in the resource manager job
'Source RFC: SM_PE1CLNT800_READ / Message: DIA WP Resource Cap Exceeded"
Source RFC: SM_PE1CLNT800_TMW / Message: Resource allocated successfully'
Would you advise to increase the resource cap, currently it's 2?
Regards,
Sultan

Hello Sultan,
It depends. Check the SAP Note 2501031- How to analyze/increase the Extractor Framework performance/throughput.
And this wiki: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechOps/EFWK_TROUBLESHOOTING

Hello Alexander,
I have activated parallel_generators after that i can see extractors started running and resource manager job is finished successfully.
However, i don't find data still in BPI. Could you please advise any thing else needs to be done.

Sultan

Hello Sultan,
I
suppose you have already checked all the prerequisites from wiki's/guides, reviewed BPO Reporting Infrastructure Maintenance status for BW Health check (Business Process Improvement Administration app in BPO workcenter) and Object Administration for Runtime Health check (Object Administration app).
Among other things, it may just take some time to collect and store the data. Check data collection periods for your objects.
Unlike the general problem with EFWK RESOURCE MANAGER the problem with no data in a specific dashboard may be case-specific and scenario-specific. Could you please provide more information about objects, data collectors and dashboard applications you are troubleshooting. Setup actions taken will be very helpful too.
Regards,
Alexander
Hello Alexander,
Thanks for your response.
I have activated the logon group, i don't see 'Default' logon group in our setting.
Could you please verify. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sulthan,
Please review Logon/server group for EFWK settings on E2E_EXTRACTOR_FWK -> Configuration tab and settings of RFC server Logon group in transaction RZ12.

Alexander
