Default value cannot be set for flushing drop-down Lists

Hi all

I'm working on a flavor and I need to set an item on the dropdown list as default but I'm getting the following message: Default value cannot be set for flushing drop-down Lists

Why is that happening? I have worked on another flavor for the very same transaction and I set a default item successfully before.

Hi Andrea,

Some dropdown controls change the application context (for instance, navigation to another screen) immediately upon value selection. Setting the default value in such case wouldn't make sense because it would trigger the context update during the flavor load without even displaying the dropdown control to the user.
