Hello,
we have a date filter in a story based on imported data and from time to time, we face the problem that we cannot filter on the current calender week. To me it seems, that the filter does not always "know" internally the current calender week, which is the end date.
The crazy thing is that most of the time this works, but then - from time to time - users cannot choose the current calendar week as it seems that this filter does not yet have gotten the information of the actual date.
As a content creater it is relatively easy to fix this problem. I just have to edit the filter and change the enddate on another value and then just switch back to the setting before and click ok - and then the filter obviously updates internally the date informations and then everything is alright again. But that is no way for normal end users...
BTW: This is an indirect filter, but the date that is filtered is provided by the first model in the filter. Might this be a problem?
Do you have any good ideas on that?
Thanks a lot,
Martin
FYI: The issue mentioned above is some kind of bug. This issue has been solved in the date - filter in the new optimized story experience. So the solution is in this case to use the new optimized mode.

Hello William,
thanks a lot for your post! 🙂
But that dose not fit our business case. We want some kind of static / fixed filter that beginns at a fixed date and ends at the current date (current calendar week).
Meanwhile we have opened a support-case for that filter at SAP and this issue is under investigation at the moment.
Best regards,
Martin
