Datasource enhancement issue not showing appended fields in datasource change

Hi everyone ,

I was Practicing 0FI_GL_4 datasource in my local server with append structure.I append one field in the structure and activate it . this new appended structure (Field ) is visible when i am double clicking on Display Extract Structure: DTFIGL_4 . but when i am going to change datasource option in rsa6 to unhide the new field , it's not there .

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your helpful replies. I tried the same in live server and i got no issues. I think the issues was because of my test server.

Hi,

You may refer in this document to enhance a standard extractor..This is applicable on all standard extractors..

Just follow the Enhancing Extract Structure section..

can you try to change and activate extract structure. Later try to activate data source.

After the append, have you saved/activated enhanced field properly?

please go thru each step,save and activate it. later check at RSA6.

one more thing, form which table you thought to enhance?

if table of enhanced field is same of data source base table then don't use ZZ, you can add directly field to exist include structure.

First i save and activate the display structure and after this i exit and again came back to rsa6 but i didn't got the new field in change data source. I followed all the steps , but don't know why i am not getting the fields.

its showing this warning and not activating the structure.

have to zz*.

In display structure it is showing the Append.

Have you checked your data source properly?

Your data source have BKTXT Field already. You don't need to to enhance.

at your side, click on CI_BSIS and see existing fields, if there is no BKTXT then you can directly ato CI_BSIS include.

Don't use ZZ prefefix. just add as bktxt.later save and activate it.

after that you can unhide and remove field only known in eixt.

finally you can run data source at RSA3, it pulls data for bktxt aslo.

The CI_BSIS structure was empty and wen i added BKTXT it again gives the same error while activation.
