Datasource 2LIS_01_S001 can not be activated

Hi,

I have a Problem with the datasource 2LIS_01_S001. The datasource can not be activate.

When I activate the datasource there is always the red cross and I can't replicate the datasource in BW.

Have anybody an idea to solve the problem?

Please install the business content first and then try to replicate .

Have you selected proper source system while replication and while view the data-source?

Hi Susan,

S001 was one of the earliest LIS/SIS Infostructures (pre-BW) created.

Are you sure the the S001 Infostructure and table are active and populating data?

Many of these older objects have been replaced by newer objects.

You may need to get with your LIS Business Analyst to confirm the object and data are still good.

I need the datasource 2LIS_01_S001 for activate the BI Content. I want activate the infocube 0SD_C01 so I need the datasource.

I take the transaction RSA5 to activate the datasource 2LIS_01_S001. But the datasource has always the red cross. When I go to the BW System to replicate the data source, I can't see the datasource.

Have you got an idea?

I agree with John's point. The 2LIS_01_S001 datasource is probably not something you will want to use going forward in 2016.

Maybe take a step back: where does then the requirement to install 0SD_C01 come from? There are (better) alternatives in de SD business content

Hi Susan,

The symbol/icon after your data-source in RSA5/RSA6 is not for activation.

This is a new feature . The flag shows if the data source is released for ODP or not.
