Data Action to purge data selectively from an analytical Model

Hi All,

Could anyone please provide information/steps on how to create a data action in SAC to delete specific data in a data model. In a model scheduled to be loaded on daily basis, corrupt data got loaded a couple of days back which needs to be deleted. I only have basic familiarity with Javascript and need help with creating a data action assuming that data loaded on a particular date has to be purged.

mlodugu1Data Action are only available in Planning Model and not Analytical Model. But you can do selective deletion of facts from Analytical model as shown below.

In your model structure choose delete facts option

Select the filter in terms of multiple dimension and then finally delete the data

It works! I can selectively delete records having a particular date from the analytical model.

I don't believe you can execute data actions on analytical model. I believe they only run on planning models.
