Hello there. Can you help me see the problem?
Please forgive me if English is not my native language
This has troubled me for more than 2 weeks
I originally used Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 to develop a console program for PDF generation, using Crystal Reports sp23, and using multi-threading (8task)
Everything can be executed normally, the output of more than 50,000 PDFs can also be produced normally
But recently my boss asked to replace and upgrade Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Crystal Reports sp23 cannot be executed on Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 I have upgraded Crystal Reports to SP29
Now there is a problem. I run the program abnormally slowly, and out of memory often occurs
Please see the attached picture
I use task manager to check CPU and memory status It is found that the CPU usage rate is abnormally low and cannot exceed 25
I suspect that it is only executed when using a single core My program seems that the PDF generation speed is one by one, which is very abnormal
Here comes the most interesting When the program has insufficient memory, my program will skip the current execution command and restart after the thread crashes At this point, use the task manager to look at it and you will find that the CPU usage is normal, about 60~80% will be used, and the PDF will restore 8 output (8task) Is there any good way to solve this phenomenon?
Hi Chen,
SP 29 does support VS 2019, you can get it from here:

Thank you very much for your answer
The situation I'm experiencing is Test after using framework4.7.2 sp29 The problem still doesn’t improve on my server But the original problem has been improved on my other computer Below are the specifications of my other computer
I don’t know if I have encountered a similar problem with intel(R)XEON(R)CPU E5-2640 v4@2.40GHz
