COPA datasource for BW4HANA with S4 as source

Hi guys,

Just wanted to check what datasource or how do you create the datasource for COPA in BW4HANA with S4HANA as source?

Do you still use the KEB0? Do you use CDS view-based datasource? If it is the latter, what CDS views did you use? Or how do you do it?

Thanks.

Loed

Hi Loed,

For S4HANA, ACDOCA would be central source of information for FI-CO data.

For ACDOCA, we are having 2 standard data sources,

0FI_ACDOCA_10

0FI_ACDOCA_20

Please refer this KBA for more details,

2341038 - Usage of datasources 0FI_ACDOCA_10 and 0FI_ACDOCA_20 in sFIN / S4HANA

Thanks,

Bhavin

Hi,

Is it better to use those datasources instead of CDS views? Or would you know if we have a standard CDS views for COPA?

Thanks.

Never tried CDS route for ACDOCA, but you may check these CDS views,

Journal Entry: Operational View - I_JournalEntryOperationalView

Journal Entry Item - I_JournalEntryItem

Additionally you may refer this help page for similar CDS views,Journal Entry: Operational View

Hi Bhavinkumar,

Would you know if the 2 extractors for ACDOCA applicable for both ACCOUNT BASED and COSTING BASED? From what I read it is only account based? Right?

Do you have an idea for costing based extractors? Or should we just use KEB0 for it?

Thank you.

- ACDOCA will have accounting based data.

Do you have an idea for costing based extractors? Or should we just use KEB0 for it?

- Ideally KEB0 route should work for costing based extractors. May be at first place you can check underneath tables CE1* for the data in S4.

Thanks,

Bhavin
