Hi SAP,

I have followed your manual on developer.sap.com “Consume the API Proxy in SAP Web IDE”. I have filled in the information below.

Name: APIM_DevPortal_Trial

Type: HTTP

Description: Destination to API Developer Portal

URL: https://devportalu34f5b50f-s0000000000trial.hanatrial.ondemand.com/

Proxy Type: Internet

Authentication AppToAppSSO

However, I keep getting the message:

Connection to "APIM_Endpoint_Trial" established. Response returned: "404: Not Found".

Is this tutorial up to date? Can you explain to me, what I am doing wrong?

Hi Tom,

This looks like the Neo trial of API Management, just FYI this is being decommissioned in favor of the Cloud Platform Integration Suite on Cloud Foundry, with an API Governance layer.

Existing Neo-based trial accounts will continue to be available until
November 13, 2020.

In the meantime you may experience issues and errors like this as the infra is broken down. I believe that it is possible this scenario will no longer work on trial but my trial account is down so I can't confirm.

Unfortunately the WebIDE catalog is not yet available on CF until Q1 timeframe as discussed here: https://answers.sap.com/questions/13172397/is-it-possible-to-create-a-destination-based-on-th.html

This would still work in productive Neo environments, and we hope to soon enable it on CF Trial. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.
