Hi,
I am trying out the new btp service 'Datasphere', with a free plan. I am trying to transmit data from a space to a Fiori app in the BAS, via oData.
If I search via url
"https://<tenant>/dwaas-core/odata/v4/consumption/relational/<space>/<view>/<view>"
I see the data, but when I make an oData call it gives me an error, if I try to create a destination with the Oauth generated by datasphere it gives me a credential error (but I have tried them all).
I was wondering if the reasoning of being able to connect via odata the DBHANA of datasphere with a Fiori app is right?
Has anyone ever done such a thing?
Is there a direct connection between BAS and Datasphere?
Thank you for your answers.
Hello,
Connecting your Fiori app with Datasphere via oData it should be a valid approach to retrieve and interact with data residing in your HANA DB. However, there are certain considerations related to permissions, network routing and security that need to be accounted for. Please, see SAP Datasphere documentation to get more information.
Kind Regards,
