Hello Experts,
We have multiple ECC systems and one Gateway server. We want to connect to these different ECC systems using one GW system.
I want to connect to 2 ECC systems for a single service, I wanna use single client to connect to multiple systems but not with Client 800 to ECC and client 900 to ECC. How it could be achievable ?
If i create Multiple system aliases to a single service pointing to different ECC each, How the service will recognize the system alias at runtime to connect to ECC/ECC ?
Gateway server 800 / 900
Gateway server 800 = ECC 800
Gateway server 900 = ECC 900
Please give your suggestions.
Regards,
Uday.
If you want to use two different clients in your SAP Gateway Server you simply have to activate SAP Gateway in both Clients, 800 and 900.
Then you will create a system alias ECC in client 800 that points to ECC 800 and another system alias in client 900 that points to your client 900 in your ECC backend.
The clients that will call the OData service will have to provide the login client though.
Regards,
Andre
