Connect CPI-PI to CI-DS via BTP client ID & secret

Hello Experts,

Is there any way to use BTP client secret & ID in CPI-DS datastore as user Id & password to connect another cloud platform (i.e. CPI-PI) which is already a part of BTP integration suite via subaccount?

Currently we are connecting to CPI-PI (SOAP webservices) via technical user in a SOAP type datastore in DS, and business wants to evaluate if there is any option to connect CI-DS & CPI-PI webservices via BTP using client secret & ID to replace the use of technical users in CI-DS datastore.

Please suggest.

Note - The reason to connect CI-DS with CPI-PI is that there are multiple 3rd party system which is connected via API and the endpoint of the same is exposed to CI-DS via CPI-PI as SOAP services.

3rd party API -> CPI-PI (SOAP webservice) -> CI-DS SOAP datastore via technical user (Current architecture)
