hi

is it still not possible in "Optimized mode" to set for a chart or table the compound characteristic the ID format (if i open the Data explorer for the object, it is possible)

you may consider using a workaround to achieve a similar result. Here's a workaround that you can try:

  • In your data model, create a calculated column that concatenates the values of the compound characteristic into a single string in the desired format. You can use a formula like CONCAT () in SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Instead of using the compound characteristic directly in your chart or table, use the newly created calculated column as the dimension or identifier. This will effectively display the compound characteristic in the ID format.
  • You can hide or format the original compound characteristic so that it doesn't appear in the chart or table. This can be done by customizing the formatting options or visibility settings in the chart or table configuration.

By following these steps, you can effectively display the compound characteristic in the ID format in your chart or table while working within the constraints of SAP Analytics Cloud's Optimized mode.

the flag is enbaled in Administartion.
