Cloud Connector Initial setup ( adding a trial subaccount )

Hello Team,

I am having trouble adding my trial sub-account to the cloud connector.

After exploring note 2496689 , I have added IP for the region in my host file still I am getting an error.

What could be the issue .

Hello Debjit,

Point #1 I have no firewall, but when I ping the IP for CF trial US East (VA) AWS, they don't respond.

Point #2 you mention is taken care of already.

I just realize you mentioned trial account. You are trying to setup cloud connector to consume on-premise data. This falls under enterprise connection setup. Enterprise connection is not allowed on trial account. There are limitations on what are allowed via trial setup. For instance -

1. You are restricted to use search to insight on provided content in your trial account. You can not create a new model and try this function on it.
2. Trial account can use data from local file imports (.csv, .xlsx) or by connecting to Google Drive.
3. Not allowed to install business content
4. Live data connectivity not allowed - Direct/ CORS/ tunnel/ Reverse proxy
5. Coloration not supported etc.
