Close Button in Flexible Column Layout Sample Apps

Hello,

the Fiori Design Guidelines says that when a user closes the third column with the close button and navigate back then also the second column should be closed.

But when I look at the sample apps, then the close button closes the third column, but when I navigate then back with the back button of the browser, then the third column opens again.

I find the behavior in the Fiori Design Guidelines better than the one in the sample app.

What is the best practice to implement the close button to get the behavior of the guideline?
