Integration of SAP CI(BTP IS) with Datasphere

I am working with reference to the above article, but an error is output when deployed.

Error Details: "java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method" "java.sql.Connection.createStatement() of a null object loaded from local variable 'conn' "
