Dear SAP,
According to Transition to SAP Cloud ALM - SAP Solution Manager is in mainstream maintenance until the end of DIGITS. SAP Cloud ALM is the Go-to ALM platform for all SAP customers. SAP recommends to complete the transition to SAP Cloud ALM before this date
We are using the chaRM in Solution Manager and would like to understand if CALM and support (or when) the same functionality as chaRM before we migrate the change management to CALM.
Can you provide us the link of comparison between chaRM and CALM? It would help customer to make the decision and plan ahead for migration before solution manager end of main stream date.
We already checked the roadmap but could not find end-to-end process.
Thank you.
Regards,
Dear customer,
I would recommend you to use the tool: SAP Readiness Check for SAP Cloud ALM
This tool will analyze the scenario used in your SAP Solution Manager customers and tell you which of your used scenarios in SolMan are available/supported or planned or not in the CALM, and giving the transition project hints.
See this Blog post on SAP Readiness Check for SAP Cloud ALM
Access the report via SAP for Me.
Check SAP Note 3236443 - SAP Readiness Check for SAP Cloud ALM for details to extract the required data from yoru SAP Solution manager.
I would like to highlight also the presentations and recordings of the last ALM Summit EMEA 2023, get all the material in this link
