Characteristic Plant has no master data for "XXX" or you do not have authorization

Hello experts,

Whenever i open the Analysis for office workbook and pass the prompts and click on 'ok', i get the below error:

Characteristic Plant has no master data for "XXX" or you do not have authorization.

I have also unticked 'store prompts with workbook' and also checked 'Remove data before saving' options.

Hi,

Analysis Office usually is asking for characteristic values and SIDs and it may happen that the master data table and the SID table are not in sync. Please use transaction RSRV and check consistency of master data and SID tables.

Of course, it really might be true, that you don't have authorization.

Hi - please work with your BW security administrator to ensure you have the right authorizations; the community cannot give this to you. Analysis Office uses the backend BW authorizations
