Cannot amend text via the Personas Editor

Hi,

We are using SP16 with all the notes upto date.

On my flavor I added this text ("View your pay statement...") that now needs to be changed:

However, when I go into the editor I can't see the text that I need to amend:

As soon as I leave the editor I can see the text again:

Can anyone help explain what is going on?

Hi Robert,

Could use a few more details such as what transaction, do you have scripts on here already, also looks like you have fields hidden.

Perhaps the field is just hidden, and a script is run to unhide it?

You could just change it via scripting. So, when the transaction starts create an "onLoad" script that will change the text.

Try clearing the flavor cache. If that doesn't help, then also compress the Undo history.

Hi Brian,

Sorry for not being clearer. This is a Personas flavor created on top of the SAP entry screen (SMEN).

The hidden elements are just the parts of SMEN that are hidden:

There are no scripts on the page that are doing anything smart like hiding parts of the screen.

It's very frustrating as it was all working fine just a few hours ago, when I had just finsihed creating the flavor. I went back and the text wasn't available in the editor.

I may just start creating the flavor again from scratch. Sad face.
