BW query Result - not updating in AO report (Intermittently)

Hi Team,

if we make changes in BW query , the updated results are not reflecting in the AO report.

Pls. Note if we Reset-Datasource it appears with updated value (thought it affects the formatting of the report). also if we insert the data source freshly in the new sheet - we are getting updated values.

We are using Analysis for office : 2.8.800.96347

Any follow up PATCHES required.

Hello giriraaj.ragupathi,

This is property of BEx engine running on BW side. Results are picked up from BW cache. The property is from BW side and not necessary a part of AFO. Cache get cleared or get updated after sometime or change in underneath layer. This is by design.

You can see the same phenomenon RSRT screen as well. Under settings you get an option to skip/ ignore cache.

Just log off from the workbook and login would update the query changes.
