BW datasource enhancement :0material_attr master datasource

Hi all, I have met the BW datasource enhancement issue.After many times tries, I do need your guys help. When I enhanced the field "ztbrand" which is get from mara standard table in r/3 qas system, so I enhanced the master datasource :0material_attr by using tcode CMOD and appended the field in the appended structure. Then I get the correct data from r/3 side by using RSA3 tcode.However when I replicate metadata in bw qas system, and using full load this material ,it showed either wrong value or some other weird values.My bw datasource version probably is 3.x datasource which is old .I have tried to replicated again and again.At the same time , I loaded the other material,it still shows wrong field values in bw qas system.Please see the details in screenshots. Plz .

Hope this helps! Try below steps

1. in QAS, replicate the Datasource, check the modified version if zbrand field is not visible in BW qas system than you might not have imported ECC TR to Qas system

2. Move ECC changes (Datasource + Extract strucre + CMOD/Abap program) to Qas system and replicate the datasource in BW qas1. Move BW change post replication and check the Datasource active version. Brand field should be visible.

Many thanks for your reply.Actually I do all the steps that u mentioned in your answer.Also the field can be visible in bw qas system.

The confused issue is that when I loaded the data by using the material datasource ,the field ztbrand showed the wrong value.

it shows blank or some other weird values,which is not appeared in R/3 qas system.So I didn't choose to transport to PRD system.

U can see what i mentioned on the 2nd ,3rd screenshot above. really weird .
