Hello,
I have setup the business process monitoring and able to generate the alerts for the errors. We use the latest versoin of the product and hence BPMON is on MAI. During the alert setup in operations branch, I am using the Catalog- "Application log" , in this the Object and Subobject entered respectively. When I get the alerts for any error that occured , I only get the message saying "1 logs found. In application log no messages with search pattern O"
I have not maintained any pattern in here as I would like to see all the messages.
The problem is -
1. At the first sight, the message is not enough to understand what the issue actually is. Is it possible to display content of the error message in the alert ( as it is in the SLG1 logs) instead of showing 1 log found.
2. Are there any other catalogs available for use.
Please suggest if there are better options or anyworkarounds.
Hello Sridhar
I am afraid, the requirement you are looking for is not supported. It does not provide the error information and error logs which can be easily interpreted to understand the issue.
However, there is option available in the alert itself which helps you to navigate why this particular alert is coming.
You can check this blog -
https://blogs.sap.com/2016/12/05/application-log-monitoring-with-bpmon-on-mai/
And the requirement you are looking needs to be customized with the help of abaper who can fetch this information from the managed system and the same can be added in the alert email.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Danish
