Created a new db/repository in a separate ASE instance; loaded from another db/repository from another ASE instance. Deleted info in AL_MACHINE_INFO but customer is getting the following error after registering the new repository and connecting to it. Does the customer need to following SAP 1481432? Is there an easier wa for the DBA to create and perform a dump/load? Is there another table which needs to be modified?
“ERROR: Sybase SQL Server <HECSAPDO101> error message for
operation <ct_results>: <Sybase Server message number
<911> State <2> Severity <11> From Server
<HECSAPDO101>: Message Text is: Attempt to locate entry in
sysdatabases for database ‘Repo_LOCAL_SBX_BI’ by name failed
- no entry found under that name. Make sure that name is
entered properly.”
Hi Rillic,
From the error provided, there is no entry for the database/SID into which the backup/dump is going to be loaded. So first get the database/SID created and check it's existence from master..sysdatabases and then proceed with your activity.
