BO 4.2 installation fails flash player prerequisite

I need to install SAP Business Objects Dashboards 4.2 and have downloaded the 4.2 SP08 installer from SAP. I know it is not the latest version, but it is the version we have on our servers, so I need to use the same. Since this version is quite old, the installer checks that Flash Player is installed on my PC and since Flash Player is no longer available, the installer cannot proceed. How can I get around this and get the installer to proceed? I only need to install Business Objects Web Intelligence, no additional tools are needed.

SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards does NOT include Webi! It is the old Excelsius product that required Flash. If you're trying to install the Webi Rich Client, you need the BOBJ Client Tools install instead.
