Bidirectional Sync with Business Process Model Connector for SAP Signavio Solutions

Context:

I am looking for some information about Business Process Model Connector for SAP Signavio Solutions. I am following this configuration documentation. This mentions that, after a synchronization project is created in the application, a synchronization run should be created to activate the synchronization. This synchronization run is where the direction of synchronization will be defined.

Questions/topics of discussion:

  1. Will this synchronization run be one time sync or will this run continuously to sync the target system?
  2. Is it possible to create two synchronization runs for a single sync project to syn both ways Solman -> Signavio and Signavio -> Solman ?

Looking forward for answers. Please mention your opinion if not sure about an exact answer.

Hello sharathvuppala0564,

As far as I had seen, it is not possible to create two synchronization runs for a single sync project as we only have radio button to choose the direction of sync, either SolMan -> Signavio or Signavio -> SolMan.

Hi vignesh_prabhu ,

Thanks for the comment.

I'd like to elaborate my second question. Is it possible to create two individual synchronizations run (each with one of the radio buttons selected, different from the other) for a single synchronization project?

I think you need to have two sync projects and mention the objects/ folders to be sync accordingly.
