Best repository to deploy the sapui5 application

Hi Experts,

Please let me know the repository in which I can deploy the SAPUI5 application.

Since I'm bit new to it, so I need to know in detail where I can deploy the app from Hana Workbench and the best suited repository for the Fiori applications.

Any help would be appreciated.!

Hi Kevin,

Will this deployment work if I want to publish/deploy a SAP UI5 application such that it can be used as a Software/Application as a service (multiple companies can use it to fulfill their business requirements)?

Hi Srishti,

SAPU5 apps are web applications. Once deployed they will be registered on your SCP's account and it will be a public URL. Therefore, anyone with a link to the application can open the URL and logon (if you enabled it on your app).

Just remember that SCP Trial versions license prevent you from running any applications in productive mode. On trial landscape only a single user can open applications - the developer.

I think Ivan has answered your question, on trial landscape only a single user can open applications - the developer. So we suggest to buy the released version for different users support if you have the requirement for multiple companies

Hi Ivan and Kevin,

Thanks for your valuable responses on my query.

I want you to know that my team has developed an application which is to submit the time sheet request for approval from the Level1 employee to the Level2 employee i.e manager. These two levels of employee have their separate tiles on launchpad to take actions accordingly.

Level2 employee has a tile to approve/reject the request submitted by Level1 employee. Level1 employee has tiles to view his approved/rejected requests.

There is an Admin user which can access the tiles such as User Groups: Admin, Manager, Employee; Users: Emp1, Emp2...EmpN. Admin user can create users based on user groups. These users data will go to the USERS_APPLICATION table built in catalog console and the Users with username and password will go to the Security console.

Hence, in this regard Can we deploy the multiple tenants of this application such that ADMIN users of the multiple companies can build the users of their own companies and they must be separated from each other.
