We have a business requirement to update the Journal Entry using any BAPI; I know we have BAPI to post Journal Entry but not able to find for change. how to achieve an update of Journal Entry remotely(other than APIs)?
Hello @sangwan please check below thread. Please remember only limited fields can be updated in accounting document in change mode like header text, Assignment, payment method fields like amount, cost centre, business area etc cannot be changed to ensure data integrity. Hope this helps.
I wanted to let you know that the BAPIs you mentioned are not meant for updating Journal Entry in FI module. They are to update Document Processing, which is different from Journal Entry (payable to vendor). Do you happen to have any working copy that can update the Journal Entry specifically, and not the Document Processing?
