I'm looking for some guidance on how to implement a vendor facing API. We are to develop an API that will allow a subset of our vendors to access certain exposed SAP (R/3) services. We do not want the vendor to include their SAP vendor ID in the API calls; but rather we would like to associate their SAP Vendor ID with their OAuth key. One authenticated we would fetch their vendor id (from somewhere 🙂 ) and include it in service calls with the SAP system. I can't seem to find a best practice for this.
Can someone give me a push in the right direction - I might be approaching the problem wrong.
