Any approach to use Function Module 'READ_TEXT' in CDS view without the use of Virtual Elements ?

I have to read the TDLINE value for one of the Text Field in FB03 using READ_TEXT Function Module.

Any approach/alternative to use 'READ_TEXT' in CDS View without using Virtual Elements ?

Out of curiosity, why do you want to do it "without using Virtual Elements" ?

Another solution : use of ESH_SR_LTXT_REPLICATE, originally from 3048704 - Long text (SAPScript) search enablement for CDS-based search

I have tried implementing using Virtual elements, but is it was not useful as I cannot consume the output using Data Preview & to consume it.

I created OData service as well to view Text, but still was not helpful.

Any blog/solution which has logic of READ_TEXT in AMDP for reference ?
