we develop Adobe Forms with the Adobe Lifecycle Designer 11 and have several problems with this tool. Is create a OSS-incident but SAP refer the the Lifecycle Designer is a 3rd party tool so the didn't support this.
1) If you stay in the TRX SFP in Diplay mode ist is possible to change the PDF but the changes can't be saved (I keep in mind that this problem still exist since Adobe Lifecycle Designer 8.2).
2) If we translate the document the translated and activate the PDF, the translated entries doen't work. Our workaround is that the place a "dummy-element" in the PDF activate this, remove the dummy element and activate is again.
3) If we are in change mode translate the document activate the translation and go back the document is then in display mode. in combination with 1) it's a terrible error.
4) If we translate the document sometimes the corresponding variables are displayed in the german document but not in the english translated document. If you change the PDF several times and activate it sometimes the problem disappear but not allways.
If I've a look at the patches for the Lifecycle Designer the actual patch ist from 08.09.2020, but in the changelog of the patches after our release are no fixes for our problems.
For some problems we find some workaround but the problems slowed down our development. Have anyone some solutions for our problems?
