Access onpremise XSA application outside server

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement where I want to access a on-premise XSA application outside server .

The application port is opened and we are able to access the application url. But we are facing issue while accessing the UAA service . I am trying to find a solution regarding reverse proxy for uaa service .

Please suggest how we can achieve reverse proxy through sap cloud connector.

Hello,

I would recommend to enable hostname routing for your XSA as explained in note 2245631 - Routing Mode and Default Domain configuration for SAP HANA extended application services, ...

This way, only one port is used for all xsa applications (including uaa) and it will be easier to manage the network opening.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply !

1. We created a new url in DNS which is accessible outside citrix and redirects to default domain of xsuaaserver.

2.Our XSA is port based and we changed the default domain of xsuaaserver to new url in .ini configuration file .

3. We tried accessing inside server and it was redirecting to the changed domain

Issue

But when we tried the same from outside server it was still redirecting to the default port 3..32 with default hostname.

Could you please help here .
