About metrics generated under 'Custom Metric Process (Virtual)'

Nodes were generated under 'Custom Metric Process (Virtual)' in WebView page of Introscope Enterprise Manager.
Why did only nodes for part of managed systems generated? What are the nodes used for?

The metrics are used for System Monitoring in Solution Manager: They aggregate existing metrics across all Introscope agents of a managed system.
For example, web sessions are summed up across all Netweaver Java nodes to get a single number for a complete managed system. These metrics are then displayed in System Monitoring.

Technically the metrics are defined via config/agentclusters.xml on the Introscope EM.
The managed system configuration activity “Generate System-level Metrics” triggers updates to this file via the Diagnostics Agent.
