2LIS_11_VAITM - Delta for 2 BW-Systems

Dear all,

I know, that it's possible, to have 2LIS_11_VAITM extract delta to multiple BW-Systems. But i am not sure, what are the steps to get it working.

Following Scenario:

R3-Sourcesystem

BW-System 1 (all data from sourcesystem, daily delta load)

BW-System 2 (connected to R3-sourcesystem and BW-System 1)

Will this work:

Full load from BW1 to BW2 (will run sometime)

Deltaupdate BW 1 to R3-sourcesystem

Delta-Load BW1 to BW2

Delta Init withouth Data from BW2 to R3-sourcesystem

This worked for the CO_PA-Datasource. Can it work here, too? Do we have to set up some more steps in R3?

Hi Kevin,

I am not sure if I fully understand the your scenario but generally speaking, it is possible to connect two or more BW systems to one OLTP system. Please refer to SAP Note 775568 - Two and more BW systems against one OLTP system.

Only DataSources which rely on a timestamp delta mechanism can give problems. Please refer to SAP Note 844222 - Two OR more BW systems against one OLTP system.
