Hi guys,
I just activated the business content for extractor/datasource 2LIS_03_BF and then converted all the 3.x code & datasource to 7.0 to load InfoCube 0IC_C03 I ran my initializtion into the PSA, then ran my delta DTP and got the following error:
No SID found for value 'MM ' of characteristic 0LOC_CURRCY. ID: BRAIN: No. 70
My initial research:
The only place value 'MM' comes in the PSA is from the application component, BWAPPLNM. I don't understand why the transformation would even attempt to map it to 0LOC_CURRCY. It looks like there is a trailing space in the error message, but when I look at the records in the error stack I don't see that trailing space.
I did check T006, MM is in there, not that it should matter. I have also updated the currency and units of measures tables from my datasource via Transfer gobal settings.
Anyone have an idea of what else to try? kind of stuck here.
Thanks a lot guys!
I solved it and this is what I did:
1. I first took print screens for simplicity's sake of all the ECC fields that are mapped to a BW field to make re-mapping them faster. You'll see why I did this in the next step.
2. I deleted all of the key figure mappings and 0LOC_CURRCY mappings in the transformation for every field.
3. I then re-mapped the key figures and THEN re-mapped 0LOC_CURRCY for each BW field.
4. Re-activated transformation, repeated the failed DTP load, and all is well with the world.
This is clearly a bug in SAP, but this is what worked for me. Hope it helps someone!

Hi Gary,
When we get blank values in currecny(0LOC_CURRCY) related feild from source,we get this kind of error.
Seems like blank values are coming from the source in 0LOC_CURRCY for some records. so please check with ecc team and try to load with values.
Thanks
