Andreas gave a thought provoking webcast on 17-Jan-2008 about the challenge of monitoring CO2 emissions impact across the earth, giving concrete examples of consumer products such as apples and cans of soda. I will post links to the slides when available, but here are links to a few topics he mentioned:

[The Carbon Trust|http://www.carbontrust.co.uk/]

[Wassily Leontief|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leontief_paradox]

[SAP Green 2.0 wiki|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/FOQ]

[Andreas Blog|http://andreasonsoftware.blogspot.com]

A great quote via wikipedia: 'Throughout his life Leontief campaigned against "theoretical assumptions and nonobserved facts".'
