why we directly load the data to directly infocube instead of dso ?

can anyone please tell me that, why we directly load the data directly to infocube instead of dso while loading the inventory datasource.

I think its because there is no futhers action with inventory data source after load to infocube and the performance of infocube also better than dso. Read this wiki for more detial:
