SAP Field Service Management - Jasper report - Current user variable

Hi guys,

is it possible to use something like ${currentUser}, so that the mobile application would be aware of the user currently logged in and prepopulate some field required for the report generation like name of Business Partner to which the logged in user is assigned? What we want to achieve is that the users won't have to type in the name of the Business partner manually.

Alternatively it would help us, if it would be possible to at least define a Picklists there restricted on the user logged in.

Hi Tomas,

Usage of currentUser and currentProfile is not supported in SAP FSM Windows. These are the known limitations. The currentUser and currentProfile global variables are supported in mobile (ios & android) applications, thus the expressions with currentUser or currentProfile can be used in mobile Screen Configuration.

could you please provide us with an example, so that we could verify that we understand each other correctly?

Or answer this question:

In the Jaspersoft studio we should be able to use currentUser and currentProfile variables in the SQL expression and it should work with (ios & android) applications?
