SAP EWM QM Inspection lot stock posting

Hello Friends,

I have the below mentioned conditions for stock posting from eWM inspection lot created from Lot origin 17.

1.Partial quantity Accept and Reject : In case single unit HU inspection lot quantity, it is partially Accepted/Rejection. E.g : Out of 50 Qty , 20 is rejected(to be posted to Blocked Stock) and 30 is accepted(to be posted to Unrestricted Use) for a single HU.

2. Partial HU Accept / Reject:In case of partial HU accepted/Rejected , e.g : out of 60 qty , there are 3 HUs each with 20 qty. Out of 20 Qty ,15 qty is Accepted and 5 qty is rejected from a particular HU.

HU --10023 --> 20 Qty

HU--10024--> 20 Qty

HU--10025--> 20 Qty (15 qty Accepted and 5 Qty Rejected)

Hi Neel

I read your question but I don't understand what exactly is the issue.

With S/4HANA Embedded EWM you can have partial quantities rejected and you can even create new destination HUs during the Usage Decision (see the screenshot below).

Can you please explain what exactly aren't you being able to do and what is the issue here?

Your answer is justified to my requirement for partial stock posting of Inspection lot.

I have created an Inspection lot with 17 Lot Origin which I have processed with Result Recording from QE51N. Based on my Result Record, I need to do partial stock posting of a single unit. Which are the transactions to create new destination HUs during the Usage Decision?

Hello Caetano,

We are facing issues in this specific screen.
We are running SAP EWM 1909 Embedded into S/4 Hana.

We are performing quality inspection through QA32 -> Take usage decision -> EWM inspection for the case of partial decision like you suggested. (initially 1 HU with 10 Pc, 7 should be accepted, 3 should be rejected & scrapped).

However, when we are creating new destination handling unit in this specific EWM inspection screen, SAP doesn't perform the repacking. He creates the HU, but he doesn't actually repack in it after saving & triggering the "close HU" action.

The stock posting of the different usage decision is reflected in the source HU where 2 item lines are now visible with two different stock types, hence the quality decision themselves worked successfully.

Could you suggest any hint where to look in case the repacking doesn't take place?

No error message nor queue is raised by the system.
