Hello,
actually we want to use the attribute breakdown category (Unterkontierung) as an attribute for the position in BW.
The breakdown category is already an attribute of the position in sem-bcs. When I look into the corresponding SEM-BCS-position table I can see the row ITGRP.
I also created an InfoObject (ZITGRP) in BW which can be used as an attribute of the position.
However when I add the new Infoobject as attribute in the position infoobject 0cs_item, sem would create a second attribute for the breakdown category.
Is there any way to use the existing attribute instead?
Thank You!
Markus
One thing I forgot to mention:
Is it possible to assigning the Infoobject to an existing field using
transaction UC00 --> BW --> Mapping Info Object <-> Field Name
--> now I would like to assing the BW-infoobject zitgrp to the existing field itgrp in sem
Any idea if this would be the right solution?
Thank You!
Markus

Not sure if MDGF can solve that problem.
I just want to use the existing position attribute from SEM-BCS in the position infoobject. But actually I do not not how to refer to that attribtue.
I would guess, that there is somehting like a table where I can map a sem attribute to a bw infoobject.
Hello Eugene,
thanks for your answer. For my understanding customer defined attribute would be the procedure the create a new attribute in BW and in SEM. Where can I map the existing SEM attribute?
I looked at ucwb --> master data --> customer defined attribtues
However SAP help says: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sem60ep1/helpdata/EN/b4/a87925b459f444adf60bb081c00a2c/frameset.htm
Creating a Custom Attribute

Cheers,
Markus
