Frequency change- Selection screen task (COI) execution showing error.

Hi Team,

We have changed consolidation frequency from quarterly to monthly for a version. And made required changes at each task level.

We are able to execute the task successfully. However, we have a problem when we execute the task with selection screen,

System is gving a Following error message.

Error msg:

Cons Frequency Change: Restrictions in selection screen are not possible.

Msg No: UCF6722

Diagnosis:

The consolidation frequency is being changed in consolidation of investments, In period where this occurs. You can not execute consolidation of investment task for individual investeee units, activity numbers or activity types.

I found a note 745501 but is not relavent for our system SEM-BW 604  

Please share your thoughts on the same.

The assignment of frequency is time-dependent (annually). So, if you are trying to execute for a period previous to the parameters of the change it will use the quarterly frequency instead of the monthly frequency.

Hi Dan,

the assignment is also checked  and its is working properly.

This task is giving error only when I execute task with selection ristrictions ( for specific consolidation units )

What about parameters in the selection screen, namely: the year and period, and FYV?

Do they (the start and ending periods) belong to the same Cons frequency?
